October 10, 2010 - Sunday is family day!

"Who is Patrizia"
"Patrizia Pepe"
HAHA
This will be our new thing; other than "Felicidades."

Had lunch at Cafe Maximilian really nearby our apartments. Had fries and buffalo wings! Shared that with Butch but then ordered another five pieces for myself. Yum!

After eating. I was very happy!

The menu

Look so cute, father and daughter. They were the ones that served us! So cute. The dad was really kind asking us where we're from and what we're doing here in Germany. :)

It was a Sunday and like I mentioned, practically everything's closed on Sundays so I'm glad we found a place!

Panj went to go somewhere after and Butch and I headed home. There are a lot of random ride thingies for kids on the streets so when I saw this, I said to Butch "Wow!! How do you play??" Then Butch said, "That's for their bikes." HAHAHA. Whoops. That's where they lock their bikes to.

On our way home

With the "ride"

Sunny! But still super cold.

We watched Harry Met Sally then did random stuff then walked to church. Panj went ahead, I followed, then so did Butch. We all walked separately. Haha. It was a really beautiful mass cause I think there was some sort of special occasion. A new parish priest maybe? Anyway, the choir was amazing and so were the instruments! I felt like I was in the Anastacia movie or at a ballet or opera or something. Really nice.

After, before the final blessing, people went up pa to give speeches and stuff like that. I'm guessing cause of whatever occasion it was. So while waiting for the final blessing, we entered the room at the back where they showcased some memorabilia of sorts.

The altar

This is the church; from the back where we were

Next, we had dinner at Granada, another restaurant near our place.

Look at the little guitar! The perfect size for Barbie!!! Hahaha. Sorry, my mind thinks like that. Long story.

Inside the restaurant

Oh my, so pangs!

Dinner!

The waitress was so so nice! Panj went home ahead of us and when Butch and I were paying, the waitress asked us where we were from, as most people from here usually do. We said the Philippines and she's such a cutie, she goes "Oho!" while moving her arm in a--never mind, can't explain her hand gesture. Haha. Then we couldn't understand her. Then she said "yes?" So we were like, "Oh!! 'Oo'" Cutie. Then she also said "Salamat." She told us that she used to have a pen pal from the Philippines back when she was younger. Aww super cute!

Walked home then skyped with my ate! She said I'm fatter na. Haha. I wonder if it's true!
