October 12, 2010 - BANKS BANKS BANKS

Today was pretty stressful! I woke up at 9-9:15 cause I had an appointment at the Rathaus to get my residence permit. I left the house at 9:30 and got there at around 9:35. Met up with Jeanette cause she was gonna help be my translator. So so nice! I forgot to remind her the night before about the appointment so I was scared when I was walking to the place but then I saw her there waiting for me by the fountain! She's really so nice and pretty.

I had my interview first with a lady. Jeanette helped me answer this 15 page questionnaire about whether I'm a member of this and this group, and whether or not I've created weapons and stuff like that, haha. Jeanette was so cute trying not to laugh in front of the lady.

Next, I had my interview with another dude. He was really freaky and something was wrong with his hand and his nails were the grossest things ever. Aaahh. He approved everything except he said I needed to have 3,000 euros in my German bank account plus submit my rental contract.

Went to a couple of banks afterwards to ask about the charge when I withdraw from my BDO account. Then I said goodbye to Jeanette then walked home.

Went to Panj's to discuss the matter. We're supposed to leave for Amsterdam on Thursday but then without a residence permit, that just wouldn't be possible. So Butch and I went back to Rathausplatz, that big place where the Rathaus is, our bank Sparkasse, and lots of other banks are. I inquired about their rates, etc etc. It was such a hassle! We went to lots of banks but many were closed. We even entered this one place cause from the outside it looked like a bank. No pala. HAHA. We looked so weird siguro. We withdrew some money, but got all stressed so decided to have lunch!

We ate at Virtualienmart again. I'll take a photo next time of how it looks. We had beef with rice! While we were there, we saw Panjee walking doing her other errands! So she stayed with us then we went back to our apartments to get something for school then headed there.

We fixed our subjects again cause super hassle, one of them got cancelled cause they couldn't find a teacher for it. When we entered the office, Marta, the girl at the international office handling everything, had tears in her eyes. :( Awwww! Something happened but we weren't sure what. And she told us she wasn't permitted to sign any of our papers anymore. Poor Marta!

We left school and I decided to pass by the bank first so told them to go ahead. It was closed already though so I walked home na rin after.

Went to Panj's for a midnight snack! Butch and I brought food and she cooked for us!
That's fish fillet, bolognese sauce, and egg!

I walked to her house in short shorts and my legs froze! Haha.

At Panj's "DOWNSTAIRS AREA"
(Don't mind my poor knees. Haha, not healed yet!)

Yummy food!
