The three of us had lunch with the JTA Munich people at Indian Mango. I had lamb curry. I'm not really a fan of Indian food but I decided to give it a try. It was pretty good! The manager/owner of the restaurant was the one attending to us and he was super nice. Plus he knew some words in Filipino cause his wife is Filipino!
JTA Munich + JTA Ingolstadt
We rested for a bit at the apartment then took the U to the BMW Welt and Olympiapark.
BMW
Cool shaped building!
The guy didn't quite get it right, haha.
Inside the museum. I love the color of this car!
I found this so cool
The museum was really pretty but confusing cause there were so many places you could go to
Super high tech, it's kind of like touch screen! Reminds me of Ironman
So small and cutie
I like aqua, haha.
We walked around after looking for Olympiapark. We actually really weren't certain what there was to see here so we just kept on walking and following signs. Haha.
We saw this sign and of course Butch went crazy. So we decided to go check it out. Panj isn't really a fan of fish, haha, so we agreed to meet up with her afterwards.
Dory and Nemo!
I got aliw with this purple thing, haha
Pretty colors
I love my camera! Hello seahorse!
Near death experience.
We lost Panj after Sea Life cause she wasn't picking up and we finished earlier than expected. We waited for her by pond/lake/whatever. The place was really nice actually. Big garden with benches and that body of water in the middle with ducks and swans! I bought crepe and we sat down on a bench while waiting.
After a few minutes, we decided to just go around since we said we'd meet her at six pa. We entered this place and saw that they sold tickets to something. We weren't sure what. Hahaha. It was for the Olympic Tower (not like we knew what that was at that moment) and Rock Museum pala so we got tickets. We rode the elevator which was really fast. Little did I know we were going 190 meters up!
The Rock Museum was really small. More like a little area with a bunch of memorabilla.
This was Elton John's mirror piano
Owned by the Rolling Stones
The view!
This floor still had glass around it. The next two levels that we went to didn't! It was really cold and windy though!
Tennis courts; from the second level
At the third level! We bumped into Panj, haha.
The Arena
Back at the Rock Museum (It's the same thing as the first floor)
With the jukebox!
That's how high up we were!
Olympic Tower, Munich
It was really cold by the time we ended and I was feeling really sick. So when we got back to the apartment, I decided to stay in and rest so that I wouldn't have to stay in for the whole day the next day. Butch and Panj went out for dinner and drinks.
It was probably the first time I had alone time and I enjoyed! Haha. I really didn't do much, mostly rested but it was nice to have some peace and quiet. :)
Butch and Panj woke me up when they got home and gave me the dinner I asked them to buy for me. Wanton soup! Still not as great as the ones back home but good enough. :)
I forgot to add this in earlier. We passed by Marienplatz on our way home. Here's a photo. :)
