September 22, 2010 - The Search for Ingolstadt Village

We woke up at 5:45 am the next day! Haha. The plane ride got us tired!

Breakfast at the dining hall. There was cheese, bread, butter, cold cuts, nutella, and jam!

This shot started FELICIDADES. Haha. I was fixing my hair but Butch cause he's Butch took the photo when I wasn't ready yet. So since then, we've been taking Felicidades photos which are pretty much exaggerated model photos. Haha. Super funny when we say it after we take the shot.

We kept on standing where the sun was

Discussing our agenda

Exploring Ingolstadt

At the market

We visited our dorms for the first time! Mine is the one on the leftmost!

Where we pass from our hostel to the city

What I had for lunch! This is bratwurst, I think. A kind man who was also in line helped us order since the lady didn't speak English. This was yummy! But I wish I had rice. :(

At our favorite beer garden

THIS WAS SO FUNNY. She asked the woman where she got her food cause she was eating something super yummy (turkey ham and rice which is our favorite now). Everyone around them was laughing na cause they couldn't understand each other. Super funny, the lady ended up standing and pointing it out to Panj in the menu.

We went to the Audi museum!

Love this car

PURPS!

CLICK TO ENLARGE! Is it moving? :)

Panj was stuck in this area for around 10 minutes, saying to us that each of the circle things were actually gray. The people at Audi were laughing at her na. Hahaha.

After Audi, we decided to go to Ingolstadt Village. The high end outlet store here. We weren't quite sure how to get there though. We tried looking at the bus map and schedules but couldn't really understand. We were convinced that if we walked to this particular bus stop, we could take that bus then go. But no. Haha. We just kept on walking and got LOOOOSSTT.

We rested at this one bus stop then asked the kid there how to get to the Village. He said we had to walk pa up this flyover thing to get to the right bus stop then take a bus from there. Hahaha. Then he left then a miracle! We saw three Filipinos walking towards us!!!!! We were so so happy, I teared na hahaha. Cause Ingolstadt's a really small place and we had hardly seen any Asians. So to see Filipinos, when we were lost pa, was just amazing! They had been here for two weeks or something, doing something for work. They helped us out. :) Anyway, we ended up taking that bus to the bus stop the boy told us about. Then took another bus from there.

We got down at Ringsee or something and were lost. AGAIN. We asked for help from the lady at the bus stop and she was so nice, she walked us to the other bus stop cause we couldn't understand each other! She spoke only a little English. But then told us to run cause the bus would be leaving soon! So we ran! But didn't even know where we were going. Sabaw. Hahaha. We found the bus stop but didn't catch the bus so ended up waiting again.

When we finally got to Ingolstadt Village, we realized it took us TWO HOURS to get there. Grabe. The place was nice though and there were Rayban sunglasses and stuff like that for much cheaper, but the place wasn't to die for. The experience of getting there is one for the books though!

This is right outside Ingolstadt Village. Look at the moon!

This is us with our new friend Pei Tsin (I really don't know how to spell her name). She was at the bus stop with us and we asked for help on how to get home. We ended up riding two of the buses with her! She was so so nice! She's Chinese but works at Audi. It was really nice talking to her, plus Butch got to practice his Chinese with her! Haha.

We went back to the hostel to rest. Panj wasn't feeling well so Butch and I went out to dinner at Sausalitos.

This is what we shared for dinner! Take note! I ordered a beer! Haha. Mine's on the left. Butch's is on the right.
